Any loan up to $424,100 is considered a conforming loan amount and above this threshold the loan is considered a Jumbo loan. The best conditions available are for conforming loans.
In some occasions when you have a jumbo transaction (transactions that exceed $424,100), we can obtain a first mortgage for that amount in order to obtain the best conditions for the first $424,100 and a second mortgage for the difference.
